Eduard Grigorescu

Graduated of a BEng in Computer Science and a MSc in Computer Networking, both with honors. I am passionate about travelling, football,astronomy, quantum physics and watching movies.

My research involves finding new techniques or improving existing ones in order to reduce the latency in a computer network. More specifically, reducing the queuing delay occurring in the network intermediary nodes.

Funding: I work within the RITE project which has the goal of reducing network transport latency. My research is supported by an award made by the RCUK DE programme to the dot.rural Digital Economy Hub; EP/G066051/1. Also, mywork is part-funded by the European Community under its Seventh FrameworkProgramme through the Reducing Internet Transport Latency (RITE) project (ICT-317700).

My research thesis has to be finished and submitted by May 2016.
