Thanks for your ideas, simulation and experimental implementation 
would be most welcome, and please do send any results to this list. This
will undoubtably improve our understanding. We're (UoA) planning to publish
some performance analysis for ULE, hopefully  within the next month,
other analysis / comments on performance would be great!

If published, these results would also be good references to quote.

The security area is certainly important too. Do you have specific
requirements that MPE does / does not satisfy?
